Clear records, build skills, thrive with urc's support programs

We understand that reentry looks different for everyone. That’s why, in addition to our main programs, URC offers Expungement Clinics, partners with workforce development organizations, and provides wellness classes—all designed to support individuals and their families in building brighter futures with confidence and opportunity.

EXPUNGEMENT CLINICS

Carrying a criminal record can be a burden that lasts long after you’ve completed your incarceration, but for some people, an expungement or sealed criminal record is possible. URC partners with Attorney Kim Akins to provide Expungement Clinics that help you navigate the possibility of having your criminal record sealed - meaning it will no longer show up on most background checks. Additional fees apply. Please complete our intake form for more information.

Workforce development partners

URC partners with Mahoning Valley Manufactures Coalition, Job's for Ohio Graduates, Choffin, and National Center for Urban Solutions to connect individuals with hands-on training, education, and career pathways. Together, these partnerships help build the skills, confidence, and opportunities needed for meaningful employment and long-term success in the workforce

Wellness Programs

URC offers wellness classes such as chair yoga, line dancing, a healthy foods class, and Chicago stepping to promote physical health, reduce stress, and encourage positive lifestyle habits. These programs provide fun, engaging ways for individuals to build confidence, stay active, and support their overall well-being.
